Karen Lynch is a New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of young adult paranormal novels. She is most known for an action-oriented urban fantasy YA franchise Relentless (2013–2019).
The New York Times bestselling book series centers around Sara Grey, a secretive high school senior with a mysterious ability to heal creatures. Relentless consists of seven books and has a loyal following both in the US and abroad. It has been translated and published in five other languages. In 2022 production outfit Force Majeure, led by producer Dario Kirola, acquired rights to the series.
Rogue, Warrior, and Hellion (books 3, 4, and 7 in the Relentless series) made the bestseller list of USA Today. The Relentless series hit the bestseller list in the Children's series category of the New York Times.
Karen Lynch is also the author of the Fae Games series, YA Urban Fantasy franchise which is unrelated to the Relentless series.
Karen Lynch was born and grew up in Newfoundland, Canada. She is a graduate of ITI Technical College. Before becoming an indie author, Lynch worked as a developer and consultant.
Now Karen Lynch lives in North Carolina.
