Sheila Bender

Sheila Bender, poet, author, and writing instructor, founded Writing It Real, an online community for facilitating writing from personal experience via online classes, editing, coaching and more. Her print publications include her memoir, A New Theology: Turning to Poetry in a Time of Grief, Behind Us the Way Grows Wider, a collection of new and selected poems, and over a dozen titles on writing.
