Douglas Gwyn is a recorded minister in the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers). He has served as a pastor, as a peace educator for the American Friends Service Committee, and as a teacher at Pendle Hill and Woodbrooke Quaker Study Centers. He has authored numerous books on Early Friends and other subjects. His most recent book is, A Sustainable Life: Quaker Faith and Practice in the Renewal of Creation.
