The women in Afghanistan have always been oppressed and they have never been able to get the rights they ought to have got. In the past they used to be treated almost as slaves of Afghan men and they had minimum of liberty.
Since the last decade, under the government of Karzai, women’s rights in Afghanistan has gradually improved, however, the women in Afghanistan expect a greater attention by the international community.
