Elly Flodin is deployed from Denmark as an army chaplain to Camp Northern Lights. She supports the soldiers through conversations after attacks in the field and arranges social events in the camp. She navigates an unpredictable and dangerous everyday life, and she comes face to face with the enemy.

Elly’s Mission is a work of fiction but inspired by thorough research and interviews with Danish veterans who have been deployed in Afghanistan, Iraq, and Bosnia.
