Kwesi Amoak

Kwesi Amoak is a Ghanaian Documentation Specialist, ghostwriter, and journalist renowned for his expertise in Creative Education. Kwesi has established himself as a skilled biographer and has written several acclaimed works, including The Unfinished Journey: Biography of V.C.R.A.C. Crabbe (2016).

Notably, Kwesi Amoak was a ghostwriter for over ten books, collaborating with clients from Ghana, Liberia, Togo, Nigeria, and the United Kingdom to bring their stories to life.

He is the author of The Creative One: Life and Works of Jake Otanka Obetsebi Lamptey, Quest for Excellence: Biographies of 15 Alumni of Legon, Arise Ghana Youth, Social Accountability through Active Citizenship: The Shama Model, and other publications.

Kwesi Amoak obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Information Studies from the University of Ghana. He then pursued a Master of Arts (MA) in Education, followed by a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) from the same institution.

For his MPhil thesis, he conducted a phenomenographic study involving 17 in-service teacher trainees participating in a postgraduate program at the Department of Teacher Education, University of Ghana. The culmination of his research led to the development of a four-pronged conceptual paradigm for the training and practice of Creative Pedagogy.

As a Mellon Ph.D. Fellow at the Institute of African Studies, he has dedicated his research to exploring indigenous onto-epistemologies of originality. Through this focused study, he aims to shed light on the unique ways in which creativity is understood and harnessed within African cultures.

Kwesi Amoak currently lives in Ghana.
