Anwuli Ojogwu is a Nigerian writer, editor and co-founder of Narrative Landscape Press, an independent publishing house based in Lagos. In 2022, she edited the stories from the AKO Caine Prize Writers workshop and released her book A Mind to Silence and Other Stories.
Anwuli Ojogwu was born and raised in Nigeria. She earned her Bachelor's degree in English Literature from the University of Benin.
Anwuli has contributed to journalism and column writing. She served as an assistant editor/PRO officer at Kachifo Limited, owners of the Farafina Trademark. She collaborated with renowned writers such as Chimamanda Adichie, Chika Unigwe, and Binyanvanga Wainaina.
Her professional journey also includes roles as a communication manager at FATE Foundation, where she managed communication strategies and worked with emerging entrepreneurs. She served as a Senior Consultant for Development Communications and projects at ThistlePraxis Consulting, contributing to media campaigns on sustainability for clients like the Cross River State Government.
Anwuli also served as the Ag Executive Director of Career Development Network (CDNet), a non-profit organization focusing on youth development.
Anwuli Ojogwu is a Fellow of the sustainability initiative at the Leadership in Environment and Development Program in Africa (LEAD). She is a member of the Atlas Community Leaders and the Global Shapers Community of the World Economic Forum.
Ojogwu is an editor and co-founder of Narrative Landscape Press, an independent publishing firm based in Lagos. The press is renowned for publishing acclaimed writers such as Chimamanda Adichie and Oyinkan Braithwaite.
Also, Anwuli Ojogwu founded the Society for Book and Magazine Editors of Nigeria (SBMEN), an educational and professional non-profit association that provides training and resources to Nigerian editors.
The collection A Mind to Silence and Other Stories includes the 2021 and 2022 shortlisted AKO Caine Prize stories and stories from the Caine Prize workshop. The book weaves tales of sacrifice, love, freedom, self-discovery, and loss, showcasing African and diasporic stories from across the globe.
Stories range from mysteries to noirs to political thrillers, speculative fiction, and futurism. In addition to visual and lyrical prose, the writing is gritty and visceral.
