In the moving center the division into positive and negative is simply movement as opposed to rest. In the work of the instinctive center the division into positive and negative, or pleasant and unpleasant, is also clear, and both parts are equally necessary for orientation in life.
In the feeling center, at first glance, the division seems obvious and simple if we take pleasant emotions such as joy, affection, self-confidence, as belonging to the positive part, and unpleasant emotions like fear, irritation, envy, as belonging to the negative part. But in reality the issue is more complicated. The feeling center has no positive and no negative part, and in our ordinary state of consciousness we do not have positive emotions or real negative emotions
