Clare Rhoden is a speech pathologist who has also worked as a university learning skills adviser, a student services manager, an online learning and teaching consultant, and a lecturer in English literature. Her PhD, 'The Purpose of Futility', investigated Australian literature of the Great War.
When she's not writing, Clare volunteers with Story Dogs (storydogs.org.au), an Australian reading support program for primary school children that harnesses the amazingly positive power of dogs and books.
