Meditation for Busy People

Live this day in all its beauty, in all its joy, in all its pain, agony, ecstasy. Live it in its totality – in its darkness, in its light. Live the hate and live the love. Live the anger and live the compassion. Live whatever exists at this moment

    OSHO Nataraj Meditation
Nataraj is the energy of dance. This is dance as a total meditation, where all inner division disappears and a subtle, relaxed awareness remains.

This meditation is to be done with its specific OSHO Nataraj Meditation music, which indicates and energetically supports the different stages. For further details, see the Appendix.

    OSHO Nadabrahma Meditation
Nadabrahma is the humming meditation – through humming and hand movements, conflicting parts of you start falling in tune, and you bring harmony to your whole being. Then, with body and mind totally together, you “slip out of their hold” and become a witness to both. This watching from the outside is what brings peace, silence, and bliss.

    OSHO Kundalini Meditation
This “sister meditation” to the OSHO Dynamic is best done at sunset or in the late afternoon. Being fully immersed in the shaking and dancing of the first two stages helps to “melt” the rocklike being, wherever the energy flow has been repressed and blocked. Then that energy can flow, dance and be transformed into bliss and joy. The last two stages enable all this energy to flow vertically, to move upward into silence. It is a highly effective way of unwinding and letting go at the end of the day.

This meditation is to be done with its specific OSHO Kundalini Meditation music, which indicates and energetically supports the different stages. For further details, see the Appendix.

    OSHO Dynamic Meditation
This meditation is a fast, intense, and thorough way to break old, ingrained patterns in the bodymind that keep one imprisoned in the past, and to experience the freedom, the witnessing, silence and peace that are hidden behind those prison walls.
The meditation is meant to be done in the early morning, when “the whole of nature becomes alive, the night has gone, the sun is coming up and everything becomes conscious and alert.”
You can do this meditation alone, but to start with it can be helpful to do it with other people. It is an individual experience, so remain oblivious of others around you. Wear loose, comfortable clothing.

This meditation is to be done with its specific OSHO Dynamic Meditation music, which indicates and energetically supports the different stages. For further details, see the Appendix.

Try for seven days: for seven days, remember only one thing – that the whole world is just a drama – and you will not be the same again. Just for seven days! You are not going to lose much because you don’t have anything to lose. You can try it. For seven days, take everything as a drama, just as a show.

When you take the world very seriously, you cannot know what happiness is. Happiness happens only when you are grounded in the attitude that the world is just a play. So try this; do everything in a very festive way, celebrating, doing an act – not the real thing.

    Techniques
    1. Gibberish meditation – emptying the mental rubbish

    2. Start the day with laughter
When you wake up, don’t open your eyes first. When you feel that sleep is gone, just start laughing in your bed.

    3. A centering device
You are already integrated. Not on the periphery – on the periphery there is much turmoil; on the periphery you are fragmented. Move inward and the deeper you go, the more you will find that you are integrated. There comes a point, at the very innermost shrine of your being, where you suddenly find you are a unity, an absolute unity. So it is a question of discovering it.

    4. Running, jogging, and swimming
It is natural and easy to keep alert while you are in movement. When you are just sitting silently, the natural thing is to just fall asleep.

First be established in peace on your own. Then you are independent, then love is not your need. Then you will never feel imprisoned when you are in love; you will never feel that love has become a sort of dependence, a slavery, a bondage

The only barrier is your holding on, clinging to the periphery, afraid that if you leave it you will be lost.

And any moment that it becomes too much, too heavy on you, you can go back to the original source – you can dip into the center of your being

One starts looking at others’ eyes. Their approval, their denial, their condemnation or appreciation becomes more and more valuable. The others become the criterion and one starts to imitate and follow them

Each moment is both past and future, a convergence of past and future

If you haven’t been to your home for twenty years, and have become just a traveler, always moving and never arriving anywhere, always reaching and never reaching anywhere; if you have become a gypsy and you don’t have any home, then you too will start going mad
