Many of us have had many best friends, but will lose many best friends, too. And it’s not always from a catastrophic loss, like from an accident or a fight, but often a slower, less noticeable loss, like the way light fades at the end of the day. You notice the light going, but then you look up and it’s become night, and you missed the moment it happened. You couldn’t find that exact moment, even if you tried. It’s no one’s fault but time and distance.
