It is a remarkable fact that the eternal God has made himself known to us mortal beings. He has disclosed his nature, his being, his character. He has become involved in human history and in the lives of individual believers.
God has revealed himself in his creation, for the whole creation proclaims the glory of God. He has revealed himself in his word, the Bible. And most supremely, he became a human in the person of Jesus Christ, his Son. In addition, by the power of the Holy Spirit, God’s presence occupies the lives of his followers. The one and only Trinity – God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit – has invited humanity into a living, family relationship with heaven itself!
