Rio de Janeiro: A symphony of vibrant colors, intoxicating samba rhythms, and the raw pulse of life.  High above the glittering beaches, in the heart of the favela of Santa Marta, Elias, blind since birth, experiences the world through the extraordinary lens of synesthesia. Sounds ignite a kaleidoscope of colors and textures, transforming his blindness into a gateway to a world unseen by others. His weathered guitar becomes his voice, weaving tales of his community's struggles and indomitable spirit.
Elodie Dubois, a French-Haitian photojournalist, arrives in Rio, drawn to the favela's untamed energy. Haunted by her ancestors' revolutionary spirit, she seeks stories hidden beneath the surface. Her camera becomes her witness, capturing the beauty and simmering tension beneath Carnival's dazzling veneer.  Drawn to the unexpected symphony of Elias's music, she finds him, and their worlds collide. She, capturing the visible; he, weaving magic from the invisible threads of sound.
Their connection deepens as Carnival approaches, but beneath the festive anticipation, a darker current flows. Police corruption festers, silencing dissent. Elodie's camera shifts from capturing beauty to exposing the ugliness lurking in the shadows, uncovering a conspiracy that reaches back to her own family’s past — a shadowy businessman with ties to the Haitian government. This discovery throws her world into disarray, forcing her to confront the uncomfortable truth about her family’s legacy.
