A Bird on the Wing

It is difficult to find a businessman who is simple. He is always cunning, clever; otherwise he cannot be a businessman. A warrior is always simple; otherwise he cannot be a warrior. He knows only two things: life and death – nothing much – and his life is always at stake, he is always gambling. He is a simple man.

Heaven and hell are not geographical. If you go in search of them you will never find them anywhere, because they are within you, they are psychological.

Infinite space exists between you and your body – infinite space, I say. An unbridgeable gap exists between you and your body.

The mind is always in a hurry, and the mind is always in search of instantaneous realizations. For the mind, to wait is very difficult, almost impossible.

You dream only because you carry the burden, you dream only because the day is incomplete. You have left many things incomplete; they have to be completed in the dream.

Because to be a greater sinner is so ego-filling – and then the greater the sinner, the greater will be the forgiveness of the divine.

How can you commit so much sin that you deserve eternal hell?

Silence is the door. Inner peace is the door. Nonviolence is the door. Love, compassion, is the door.

If you suddenly awake in the middle of anger, you will feel a peace you have never felt before. Energy was moving and suddenly it stops.
