Being An Agile Leader-Manager

TIP: Each generation has distinct values, attitudes, behaviours and expectations. Learn their drivers and use the knowledge wisely to lead and manage them successfully.

• While Gen X value change, Gen Y are addicted to it. Progressive companies will retain Gen Y by offering them ongoing training, consistent feedback on progress and immediate rewards for jobs well done

Why should employers care if employees in the different generations respect and understand each other? Three words: retention; productivity; sustainability.

We’ll discover how each generation is defined and how they see themselves. Then, once you understand a bit about them and what makes them different from each other, you can plan how to work well with them and help them all work well together and prevent small differences becoming major challenges in the team and workplace.

Yet for organisations to succeed, people need more than efficient systems and processes. They need effective leadership and management.
