Nestled in the shadow of the Carpathian Mountains, the Alchemist's Inn is a sanctuary where dreams take physical form.  Within its ancient walls, the innkeeper Emil brews elixirs that shape the very fabric of the subconscious, crafting a haven for those seeking solace in the tangible echoes of their inner worlds.  Frances, a cartographer of the mind, charts the landscapes of her dreams, finding comfort in their predictable magic. Heather, an ethereal musician, weaves melodies that capture the essence of the inn's collective unconscious.
But this delicate balance shatters with the arrival of a nameless traveler, shrouded in an aura of perpetual twilight. He brings not dreams, but nightmares — vivid hallucinations that twist the inn's reality into a grotesque parody. Whispering skulls replace wildflowers, phantom ravens haunt Heather’s harp, and Frances's meticulously crafted maps dissolve into chaotic, Escher-esque landscapes.
These nightmares, fueled by a trauma the traveler desperately tries to repress, threaten to unravel the very fabric of existence, merging the dream world with the waking world in a catastrophic collision.
