    Today, it is all very irrelevant.
    Social media entities don’t operate by formally established policies and procedures. In fact, complaints and demands for corrections are likely to be posted on the Web. Some sites knowingly publish speculation and then wait for the community of readers to fill in the facts. Like it or not, the rules have changed and it’s incumbent upon businesses to react to that.
