We insist on setting up an opposition between concepts of success and failure, but this notion is unhelpful and can stop us achieving due to the stigma attached to failure itself. Find out why you need to start thinking about failure differently and learn useful strategies that will enable you to see success as an achievable possibility.

How to Fail at Almost Everything and Still Win Big illustrates why failure is a crucial, beneficial part of a process for repositioning yourself so that you're more likely to find success in the long run. Learn logical, practical steps you can take to restructure your approach to working toward achievement and simplified methods for boosting your energy, motivation, skills, and productivity. By applying the formulas laid out, you can increase your likelihood of achieving success and feel better about your progress on a daily basis.

You will learn:

· How to use failure to your own advantage

· Why setting yourself goals is ineffective and what you should do instead

· How to increase your odds for finding success.

Great book, awful summary - poor language and structure. The summary reads as generic self-help book which original book is not.

Rather than attempting to reach unfeasible goals, adopt a system-based approach: establish a simple long-term plan that will ultimately serve to improve your position. Applying this system in your daily life will energize you and improve your general attitude toward your potential.
Learn to view any failure not as an end result, but as an instrument for learning and adding to your skills base. This posits failure as a necessary part of your system for improving your likelihood of finding success in the long run, because you are gaining knowledge and building a wide range of experiences you can draw on.
Don’t mistakenly believe that passion in one thing guarantees future success. Focus on trying out different things until you find something that works well, and let your passion grow from there.
Don’t obsess about becoming an expert in one area—instead, acquire a wide range of skills. You will be able to access a greater number of opportunities and ultimately raise your odds of finding success.
